This book is being called a "brave and astonishingly moving story about freedom, fame, motherhood, survival, faith and hope," CNN reports. Jennifer Bergstrom, senior VP of Gallery Books, referenced the 2021 court hearing in which Spears pleaded for her court-ordered conservatorship to end.

"Britney’s compelling testimony in open court shook the world, changed laws, and showed her inspiring strength and bravery. We couldn’t be more proud to help her share her story at last," she said.
