For her sons Nelson and Eddy's birthday on Friday, Céline Dion made a touching post on Instagram! Dion shared some new and old photos of her kids, while also making sure to honour their late father. See what she said here!

Céline Dion has shared with the world some adorable photos of her kids to mark a special occasion! As Hello! shares, Dion took to Instagram to wish her twin sons Eddy and Nelson a happy 10th birthday on Friday, while also paying tribute to her late husband, René Angélil.

Dion says that her sons make her "so very proud"

Dion doesn't always share pictures of her sons, but posted several on social media to commemorate them turning 10. Along with a throwback shot of the twins bundled up in matching outfits, the singer also shared side-by-side photos of each of them laying in leaf piles, showing how they've changed over the years!

"Nelson and Eddy, you have been bringing so much joy, love and laughter into our lives every single day for the past 10 years," Dion said in her special post. "You make me, your big brother and your Dad, who is for sure watching over you, so very proud. Happy birthday my beautiful boys! We love you so very much... - Mom, RC and Dad xx..."

René Angélil and Céline Dion arrive at the 83rd Annual Academy Awards on February 27, 2011.

Dion opened up about continuing on after husband's death

Dion also shared a photo of her and her sons wearing purple as they shared a tender moment last week. "Today we're going purple in solidarity with @glaad #SpiritDay," she wrote. "I encourage all of you to join us and take a stand against anti-LGBTQ bullying."

As Hello! mentions, the Canadian singer recently opened up about coping with her husband's passing in a new short video for Apple Music. "Him and I, we were one person. We were one," she said of her relationship with Angélil. "So, when he passed away, I kind of felt like for a moment that there was just one half of me."

"Am I just not going to go on anymore? Or, am I going to say: 'I'm a warrior, I'm a mother. I have strength, and I am going to show them that I can do this'?" Dion continued. "I decided to rebuild my second half. It made me realize that it's time to try new things."

Dion released her newest album Courage last year, plus she recently teamed up with Andrea Bocelli to send a message of unity to the world through their rendition of "The Prayer"!
