Bachelor Host Chris Harrison: His Roots
Christopher Bryan Harrison was born on July 26th, 1971 in Dallas Texas. He had a relatively normal childhood and then attended Oklahoma State University on a soccer scholarship. Chris worked as a sports reporter in Oklahoma from 1993 to 1999. In 2002, he found his longtime gig as Bachelor host.
Chris Harrison has hosted all Bachelor spin-offs
Since 2002, Chris has had the honour of hosting The Bachelor as well as all of its spin-offs to hit the small screen. From The Bachelorette, Bachelor Pad, Bachelor in Paradise, Bachelor in Paradise: After Paradise, Bachelor Live and The Bachelor Winter Games, Chris Harrison has been the face on our screens for the better part of 17 years.
Chris Harrison: His personal life
Besides being Bachelor host, Chris Harrison married his college sweetheart, Gwen Harrison in 1994. They have two children together, Joshua and Taylor. After 18 years of marriage, they announced that they were getting a divorce and separated in 2012. It has now recently been reported that Chris Harrison's new girlfriend is Lauren Zima, who is a reporter and journalist for Entertainment Tonight.

There is no end in sight for Bachelor Nation or Chris Harrison. The 48-year-old is brilliant at what he does and has become an absolute staple in the Bachelor world. He is currently wrapping up Hannah Brown's season of The Bachelorette. The finale airs on Monday and Tuesday this coming week. The next season of Bachelor in Paradise begins on August 5th, 2019 on ABC.
