Evan Rachel Wood Was Once Engaged To Marilyn Manson

She was 18, he was 36 and still technically married to Dita von Teese! Dita and Marilyn divorced and Marilyn was able to pursue his passionate relationship with Evan and even had her star in one of his music videos!

The pair met at a West Hollywood party and almost immediately the young Westworld star Evan Rachel Wood joined Manson for his 8-month tour. She said she was "craving danger and excitement" and that she "met somebody that promised freedom and expression and no judgments".

Manson swept her off her feet and proposed to Wood onstage at a concert in Paris. Their relationship faced a ton of criticism because of their 18 year age gap and Mansons' eccentric style and behavior. Wood told Rolling Stone strangers would shout profanities at her in the street, simply for being associated with him.

The End Of The Relationship

Manson and Wood had an on-again-off-again relationship with extremely dramatic breakups and reconciliations. The odd duo split for good in 2011, and shortly after Evan Rachel Wood began her relationship with Billy Elliot Actor, Jamie Bell. The two married, had a child and eventually divorced.

Manson is now dating popular photographer Lindsay Usich while continuing to produce music, and Wood is also producing music while her acting career skyrockets due to her starring role in Westworld.
