Felix Mallard was born in Melbourne, Australia on April 20, 1998 to parents Dave and Jane Mallard. He attended St Mary's College while playing gigs with his band, which was called Enemies Alike. While in school, Mallard was known for his academic accomplishments and career as a professional fencer.
2016 saw Mallard begin his acting career as "Ben" in the long-running Australian soap opera Neighbours.
