Goldie Hawn and longtime husband Kurt Russell ended up having an unexpected movie night together! As People reports, Hawn appeared on Sunday's episode of Watch What Happens Live, where the show's host Andy Cohen asked her if she ever watches her old movies.

The actress admitted that she has a self-imposed rule about not rewatching her movies because she's already "lived" the experience. However, she said that she decided to break that rule, as she and Russell recently watched their 1987 rom-com Overboard when it was on television!

Hawn and Russell's plans for the night changed to watch Overboard

Hawn went on to tell Cohen how revisiting Overboard with Russell came about. "There was one time when Kurt and I were actually in bed and we were getting ready to snuggle and the TV was on," she explained. She said that while the TV had been for ambiance more than anything, when she and Russell noticed what was on, they decided to tune in!

"It was us! It was us in Overboard," she said. "So the two of us forgot what we were gonna do, and we ended up watching the movie." Hawn and Russell met in 1966, but they didn't begin dating until 1984. Then just a few years later, the two ended up starring in Overboard.
