Olivia Newton John (70) found worldwide fame starring as Sandy in the hit  1978 musical Grease, alongside John Travolta (64). Olivia has already fought and beaten cancer twice. Now she has been diagnosed with the diseases a third time and rumours about the state of the blonde actress's  health have been rife ever since.

Olivia was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992 and thankfully was announced cancer-free after undergoing chemotherapy and a mastectomy. The cancer returned in 2013 to her shoulder. She once again was given the all-clear after undergoing treatment. Now, she has once again been diagnosed with the diseases after doctors found another tumour.

Olivia Newton John: "The rumours of my death have been greatly exaggerated"

When Olivia revealed that she had been diagnosed with cancer for the third time in the Australian TV Show Sunday Night, several media outlets in the United States reacted in a macabre and hyperbolic fashion, speculating that the Grease actress had just weeks left.

Olivia Newton John has now put a stop to the speculation once and for all though, taking to Twitter to post a video message for her fans in which she declared that, "the rumours of my death have been greatly exaggerated". She wished all her fans a Happy New Year, thanking them for their support  and reassuring them that she is "doing great". We wish Olivia all the best and hope that she continues to win her ongoing battle with cancer.
