Stockard Channing (80) became a household name when she played "Betty Rizzo" in Grease. Starring alongside Olivia Newton-John, John Travolta, and Lorenzo Lamas, she became an A-lister overnight.
It's been over forty-five years since Grease was first released, but Stockard Channing has stayed true to the film industry.
Stockard Channing is still going strong
Stockard Channing has played a wide variety of roles throughout her career. There isn't an award that she hasn't been nominated for! Oscars, Golden Globes, Emmys... you name it, she's been nominated for one at least once.
Channing is also a much-loved face on Broadway and has won a Tony Award for her performance in the play Joe Egg.

After being divorced three times, Channing has been in a relationship with cinematographer Daniel Gillham for over three decades and they live in Maine together. She has no children.
She recently played "Elizabeth" in the TV show Urban Myths and "Jill" in The Guest Book as well as the role of "Veronica" in the popular legal drama The Good Wife.
Her latest roles were in the television series Urban Myths and Julia, both in 2023 where she appeared in one episode.
