Oppenheim, who opened up to People magazine, shared that he's pretty "anxious" about the season release.

"I think it's going to be sad and I'm not looking forward to that at all," he said, referring to the fact this season will show an inside look at how Chrishell and Jason first linked up as a romantic pair.

"This has not been an easy breakup for me at all — my most difficult for sure — and I'm still processing," he said to the outlet.

He also mentioned that he is "having a difficult time" and doesn't "feel ready" to watch back season 5, as it will detail the highs and lows of their relationship.

The season will also outline the difficult conversations they shared around marriage and children, which is ultimately what led to their separation.

Despite being open about not wanting kids and a marriage, Oppenheim got candid about his feelings towards Stause and said that their relationship was one of the only ones he really considered "serious".

"I've had very few serious relationships and, in many ways, this was the most serious," he told the outlet. "It felt real and deep and loving. I still love her, obviously, so it has definitely been an extremely difficult process for me."

How sad! Season 5 is now streaming on Netflix.
