The 54th Super Bowl will take place on February 2nd 2020 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida, and the halftime show will be just AWESOME! It was just announced that Jennifer Lopez and Shakira will be the headline acts and we can't wait to see them together onstage. It seems that the event will be part of Shakira's birthday celebration since the Colombian singer turns 43 years old on the same day!
Both beautiful singers spread the news on their Instagram accounts; they will follow in the footsteps of previous Super Bowl headliners like Maroon 5, Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga. This year over 98 million people watched the show so we are sure that next year's will be quite successful as well!
What have Shakira and Jennifer Lopez been up to?
Shakira released her most recent album, El Dorado, in 2017, and she will be releasing a concert film based on the corresponding tour in November 2019. The Super Bowl 2020 performance will be a follow-up to J. Lo's It’s My Party tour, which was announced on The Ellen Degeneres Show in February.
