John Stamos is paying homage to the late Matthew Perry with a touching tale of their time together on the set of the iconic sitcom, 'Friends'. Perry, who passed away on Saturday, has been receiving heartfelt tributes from co-stars and fans alike, and Stamos' story is just another testament to the actor's kindness and charisma.

Stamos, known for his role in 'Full House', guest-starred in the 2003 season 9 of 'Friends' as "Zach", a potential sperm donor for "Chandler" and "Monica" played by Courteney Cox. This is how John remembered the late actor and his time with him.

John had a lot of respect for Matthew

"Matthew and I had been friendly long before 'Friends'," Stamos revealed on Instagram. "Standing backstage, ready to make my entrance, Matt whispers, 'The audience is going [to] go crazy when they see you! Get ready for some loud screams.'"

However, when Stamos walked on stage, the audience was silent. But Perry, ever the gentleman, quickly came to his rescue. "Matt walks over to the studio audience: 'Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for John Stamos! You guys probably didn't recognize him at first because he's so much better-looking in person!'" Stamos shared, adding, "I never forgot that and the world will never forget you."

Stamos is not the only one sharing fond memories of Perry. The actor, who won hearts worldwide as Chandler Bing, has inspired a wave of love from fans and stars. Aisha Tyler, who joined the cast as "Dr. Charlie Wheeler", also shared a touching anecdote about Perry's kindness.

"I will never forget the moment he leaned in, on my first night of taping 'Friends', to tell me warmly, ‘Get ready for your life to change.’ Rest well, Matthew Perry. Thank you for the kindness and laughter," Tyler wrote on Instagram.

Perry's co-stars Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer expressed their collective grief, stating, "We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just castmates. We are a family."

It's clear that Matthew Perry really enhanced the lives of those he touched. So far, there have nothing but good memories of the actor being shared online. Perry's loss leaves a big hole for everyone.
