She is American actress, comedian, writer, and film director who was nominated for a Golden Globe, winner of an Emmy Award and two Actors Guild Awards for her portrayal of "Phoebe Buffay" on the hit sitcom Friends. He has also starred on The Comeback and Web Therapy.

Her first major television role was "Úrsula Buffay," the eccentric waitress from Mad About You. This performance led to her starring role in friends as "Phoebe Buffay," a role for which she won an Emmy Award in 1998. She had the most Emmy nominations out of the whole cast.

She starred in films like Romy and Michele, The Opposite of Sex, Colgadas, Marci X, Analyze This, and its sequel Analyze That. Kudrow portrayed "Valerie Cherish" in HBO's The Comeback and was a co-creator, writer, and executive producer of the series.

She also starred in Web Therapy where she played "Fiona Wallice."
