• Britney Spears' new memoir is out
  • It includes some scathing details about Justin Timberlake
  • THIS is what Justin did in response

The book has sent shockwaves through the celebrity world, with Timberlake even turning off his Instagram comments in the aftermath of its release. In her tell-all memoir, Spears reveals that she was pregnant with Timberlake's child during their relationship which lasted from 1999 to 2002.

She alleges that Timberlake wanted her to have an abortion, which she did. "Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young," Spears writes.

Fans have been ruthless to Justin

While Timberlake hasn't publicly responded to any of the claims Spears made in her book, which was published on Tuesday, he did turn off Instragram comments. A source told 'Page Six' that the decision was made because of the, 'hateful, disgusting things people were saying' which comes days after sources claimed he was 'not happy' with Spears' revelations in the book.

The pop star also confirms that she kissed choreographer Wade Robson while she was still dating Timberlake, adding fuel to the fire of allegations of Timberlake's infidelity. Justin has previously expressed regret for his past behavior and shown support for Spears during her 13-year conservatorship battle. In 2021, he apologized for his past behavior towards Spears and Janet Jackson, admitting he benefited from a system that condones misogyny and racism.

In an exclusive email interview with 'People', Spears said, "It is finally time for me to raise my voice and speak out, and my fans deserve to hear it directly from me. No more conspiracy, no more lies — just me owning my past, present and future."

Timberlake hasn't posted on his Instagram for nearly a month, when his reunion song with NSYNC - Better Place - was released on September 29.

Justin is laying low now

The singer and actor posted a brief video with his NSYNC bandmates - J.C. Chasez, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass and Chris Kirkpatrick - discussing their new song. Britney claims in the book that she got an abortion when she was just 19 years of age because he wasn't ready to be a father so young.

"It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn’t a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day," Britney wrote.

Also interesting:

"This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated. But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy." she added. "If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father."

"To this day, it’s one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life," Spears writes of the abortion. This has prompted so many fans to take aim at Timberlake claiming he was abusive to her during that period. It's likely that he'll have to keep his head down until another celebrity writes a shocking memoir too!
