Kanye West responded to Jennifer Aniston this week after she told her fans it's "not funny to vote for Kanye" in the 2020 U.S. presidential election. The apparent feud between the rapper and the former Friends star ignited on Friday, when Aniston shared an Instagram message encouraging early voting—as she had done that day.

Aniston revealed she voted for Democratic nominees Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, and firmly discouraged followers from voting for West, who's running for president as an independent candidate—but on ballots in only 12 states. "PS - It's not funny to vote for Kanye. I don't know how else to say it. Please be responsible," she wrote.

Kanye West tells Jennifer Aniston "Friends wasn't funny either"

West hit back at Aniston's political diss on Twitter, sending out a pair of since-deleted tweets. According to screenshots captured by The Mirror, West on Monday shared a Vanity Fair article quoting Aniston's insult and captioned it: "Wow that Rogan interview got 'em shook. Let's gooooooooo." He then replied, "Friends wasn't funny either."

It's unclear just how long the tweets were live, but they're no longer present on West's Twitter page. It's also possible he deleted them because his timeline was incorrect: Aniston's message was shared on Friday, while West's interview on The Joe Rogan Experience premiered the day after (Saturday, Oct. 24), meaning Aniston's comments and the podcast episode were unrelated.

Jennifer Aniston endorses Biden, disses Kanye West

Aniston made political waves on Friday, endorsing Biden and Harris, and speaking out on her reasons for doing so. "I voted for them because right now this country is more divided than ever," she wrote.

"Right now, a few men in power are deciding what women can and can't do with their own bodies. Our current President has decided that racism is a non-issue. He has repeatedly and publicly ignored science... too many people have died," Aniston continued.

Her message in-full is seen above. West's response referenced his appearance on Joe Rogan's podcast, which was released on Saturday. The sprawling, three-hour long conversation made headlines for quotes such as Kanye saying: "I believe my calling in life is to be the leader of the free world."
