Affectionately, Celine also called her "mom" in the post. "You have taught and given me a lot; I loved you, I love you and will always love you," she added.

Celine concluded: "P.S. Can I ask you last small favour? Kiss René for me..." René Angélil was Celine Dion's longtime husband who died of cancer in 2016.

Six years have passed since the tragic loss, and the Canadian singer has been raising the couple's three sons, including their now 11-year-old twins.

According to Radio-Canada, Francine Chaloult was born in 1939 and was a respected press officer in the music scene of Quebec. She was preceded in death by her husband, the French-Canadian writer Georges-Hébert Germain.
