• LeBron James is returning to the NBA for his 21st season
  • He made his official announcement public
  • THIS is what James had to say

James made the announcement at the ESPYs on July 12, CBS Sports reports. "I don't care how many more points I score, or what I can or cannot do on the floor. The real question for me is, 'Can I play without cheating this game?'," he said via a statement. "The day I can't give the game everything on the floor is the day I'll be done. Lucky for you guys, that day is not today"

The King is staying one more year

This news was a long time coming. James previously said that he had "a lot to think about" as far as "moving forward with the game of basketball." His hint at possible retirement came after the Lakers lost to the Nuggets in Game 4 of last season's Western Conference finals.
