LeBron James has unveiled another piece of the Space Jam 2 puzzle.

Today, LeBron stepped out in new promo footage for his sequel to the 1996 basketball-Looney Tunes crossover film. In the video clip, he's seen sporting a flashy jersey for the new movie—which is titled Space Jam: A New Legacy.

The "LeBron James Space Jam Sneak Peak" appeared on the Twitter page of LeBron's Uninterrupted platform. In the promo, James takes a confident walk in the eye-catching new "Tune Squad" uniform.

The clip concludes with a graphic for Space Jam: A New Legacy, for which James previously revealed the title and logo in May.

Space Jam: A New Legacy release date

LeBron's Space Jam: A New Legacy is set for a July 16, 2021 release date. It follows the 1996 box office hit and fan-favourite Space Jam, which starred Michael Jordan as a version of himself entangled in a basketball world with Looney Tunes characters. But this time around, the filmmakers have opted for a more colourful court outfit, whereas Jordan went in white back in 1996.

We still await a first trailer for A New Legacy, but LeBron's new uniform reveal adds another piece of the puzzle in the meantime. The upcoming film will be another creative work for the multitalented Lakers star, too, as he's also begun to author a series of children's books.
