Fresh off of Mariah Carey's biggest season of the year, the "All I Want For Christmas" singer is facing a serious lawsuit!

Mariah Carey Sued By Sister Alison Carey

Superstar Mariah Carey recently released her memoir, The Meaning of Mariah Carey but now fresh off the high of being a published author, her siblings are making it known that they are upset. Her brother Morgan and sister Alison believe she made up lies about them to make her book more salacious and enticing at the expense of her own family.

Now, according to TMZ, Alison is suing her younger sister Mariah for a whopping $1.25 million. In the documents acquired by TMZ, Alison claims Mariah caused "immense emotional distress" with her false and cruel allegations against her.

In the memoir, Mariah claims when she was 12 her sister Alison abused her in many ways such as giving " her Valium, tried to pimp her out and threw a cup of boiling hot tea on her causing third-degree burns," which Alison disputes and says her sister has provided no evidence to support the claims. Alison believes these claims are extra malicious because Mariah is aware of the abuse Alison suffered at the hands of their mother Patricia Carey.

Alison also apparently suffered a traumatic brain injury during a 2015 home invasion and that her famous sister, "used her status as a public figure to attack her penniless sister" to help promote her book. According to Daily Mail, Mariah is aware that her sister is suffering from spine, digestive, and vision issues after the attack and is HIV+ and still tarnished Alison's name in hopes of "generating sensational headlines describing lurid claims to promote sales of her book."

Now, 59-year-old Alison wants restitution from her 50-year-old sister for "intentional infliction of immense emotional distress caused by defendant's heartless, vicious, vindictive, despicable and totally unnecessary public humiliation of defendant's already profoundly damaged older sister."

Mariah's 6-year-old brother Morgan has also made it clear he is upset with her "laden with lies" memoir. He told The Sun, "It's heartbreaking to witness my little sister’s descent into this hatefully delusional revisionist rant because it is so reminiscent of her unhinged behavior during her first breakdown."

In the memoir, Mariah claimed her brother Morgan was hired to murder someone for $30k but did not complete the job in the end. Morgan said, "The so-called "memoir" is laden with lies, distortions and gross revisionism from beginning to end, and I can prove it. When I reveal the truth, the facts, and supporting evidence, it will be a very harsh pill for she and her publishers to swallow, and rest assured I will be filing a lawsuit."

Mariah has made it clear that she has no relationship with her brother and sister. She told Vulture, "Here's the thing: They have been ruthlessly just heartless in terms of dealing with me as a human being for most of my life. I never would have spoken about my family at all had they not done it first. I have forgiveness in my heart, and so I forgive them, but I am not trying to invite anybody to come hang out over here. I think they're very broken, and I feel sad for them."

Apparently, Alison sent Mariah's legal team an opportunity to settle out of court on January 8th but received no response. Now that Alison Carey has sued Mariah, it seems their brother Morgan will follow suit soon as well. Mariah has yet to respond to her sibling's accusations of lying and committing slander to sell an exciting book.
