Andrea Bordeaux (32) is known to many as "Harley Hidoko" from the popular crime series NCIS: L.A.. For all of season 9 (from 2017 to 2018), she starred in the series as special agent.

Before she made her breakthrough on NCIS: L.A., she already had some guest spots on shows like NCIS, Rizzoli & Isles and Criminal Minds.

In fact, "Hidoko's" death happened off-screen. She went on a special mission to Mexico to track down a cartel and was not heard from for a long time. The rest of the team then went to Mexico to track her down.

However, the team only found human remains that they believed to belong to "Hidoko". In the first episode of season 10, her death was then onfirmed when the team went to her funeral.

Andrea Bordeaux did not give an exact reason for her departure, but after her exit from the NCIS franchise the actress remained true to her roots and has been part of a number of TV projects.

In 2019, Bordeaux took on the role of "Gloria Collins" in an episode of the second season of the Dynasty reboot. She is also one of the stars of the new comedy series Run the World. The new show by Dear White People showrunner Yvette Lee Bowser and screenwriter Leigh Davenport focuses on four best friends from Harlem. The first season consists of eight episodes.

On Instagram, Bordeaux thanked everyone involved for being part of it after the show was picked up by Starz: "I have no words. [...] This show is everything I could have dreamed of and I’m honored to be led and surrounded by brilliant, beautiful, Black Women."
