Nicole Kidman is showing her appreciation for the medical staff on the front line of the COVID-19 pandemic! The actress took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a special video message thanking them for everything they're doing right now. She mentioned that she has a firsthand understanding of nurses' dedication within demanding schedules, as her mother used to be a nurse.

Her video shoutout to medical workers was done in partnership with vitamin and supplement brand Swisse, which Kidman has served as an ambassador for since 2013. "I just want to say thank you on behalf of myself and Swisse to all of the nurses and the midwives and the health care workers," she says at the beginning of the video.

Kidman grateful to nurses: "thank you for all of your bravery"

Kidman went on to talk about how she grew up seeing "a nurse in action" her whole life since her mother worked in the profession. She also expressed the importance of making sure medical workers know they are appreciated during these difficult times.

"I used to hang out at the hospital when I was a little girl," she shared. "So to now be able to say thank you to all of you for your bravery and your selflessness and what you are doing, particularly during this time, is so important. We recognize you, and we love you. Thank you".
