The award-winning artist, who has won five Grammys and been nominated 16 times in her impressive career, received her first trophy in 1992. Now, 27 years after her first win in the "Album of the Year" category, she was back in the spotlight to present the award to Taylor Swift (34).

Dion took to the stage in an elegant floor-length dress, wrapped in a wool coat, and was greeted with a standing ovation. "When I say that I'm happy to be here, I really mean it from my heart," she revealed to the crowd.

Céline Dion's performance was one of her rare public appearances since being diagnosed with her incurable nerve disease. The singer, who has largely withdrawn from the public eye since then, appeared on a big stage again for the first time since a field hockey match in November and a public appearance three and a half years ago.

She had to postpone her tour in May 2023 due to her health challenges. Céline Dion suffers from stiff person syndrome. The disease triggers muscle spasms and can cause severe pain in the back and limbs.
