Fans have been worried for actor Richard Gere after news came that he'd been hospitalized with pneumonia.

On Feb. 18, TMZ broke the news about Gere's health scare, which came while he was vacationing in Mexico.

But Richard Gere's wife Alejandra Silva has now shared an update on her husband. Thankfully, he's doing better now.

"He is recovering," Alejandra wrote of her husband on Instagram, adding that "he is [feeling] much better today!"

The actor's wife shared that "the worst has already [passed]," and she thanked everyone for the "sweet messages we really appreciate them."

But fortunately it sounds like the Pretty Woman actor is on the mend now. With her IG update, Alejandra Silva posted a photo of herself, Richard, and their son out enjoying a walk.
