During an interview with Good Morning Britain, Robin William's son Zachary Williams opened up about how tough it was to see his dad struggling with depression and mental health issues. He said that one of the most painful moments was to see his father performing despite not feeling emotionally stable.

Zachary Williams also said that it is really difficult to support someone that is dealing with mental health issues, especially if they are close family members. He admitted to have felt a sense of helplessness when it came to helping his father.
Robin Williams died by suicide on August 11th, 2014. His last appearances on screen were in films like Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb as "Theodore Roosevelt", and in television series like The Crazy Ones, where he played the role of "Simon".
