Scott Baio was the epitome of '80s sitcom stars. Cute, charming, and on every screen all over the world. His incredible fame was short-lived until he had a few reality shows of his own and was featured in hit shows. What is he up to today?

Scott Baio: Happy Days Career Launch

Scott Baio was born September 22nd, 1960, in Brooklyn, New York City to an Italian immigrant family. He had a few roles like "Bugsy Malone" alongside Jodie Foster before he landed the role of "The Fonz's" cousin "Chachi Arcola" on the smash-hit sitcom Happy Days. Happy Days truly launched his career and led to the well-known spin-off Joanie Loves Chachi and his own series Charles in Charge. It was these shows that made him a household name and scored his image on fan walls all over the country in the 1980s.

He went on to continue working in Hollywood with guest-starring roles in shows like Full House, The Nanny, and Veronica's Closet. Scott's career was slowly declining, as he starred in smaller films like Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2 until he found a revamp in reality TV with his back-to-back shows Scott Baio is 45...and Single and Scott Baio is 46... and Pregnant. The VH1 reality shows were designed to help Scott figure out why all of his past relationships had failed and how to move forward with his current relationship with Renée Sloan.

Scott Baio Now

Scott eventually married Renée after their daughter was born and he became step-father to Renée's first daughter Kalyn. Scott had a few great boosts in Hollywood with roles like lawyer "Bob Loblaw" in Arrested Development who hilariously runs "Bob Loblaw's Law Blog" and See Dad Run. He has also become a famously outspoken republican, often attending conservative rallies and supporting Trump. He has also been the center of many celebrity feuds as he picks fights over social media with those whose views don't align with his.

He has repeatedly caught heat for racist comments and justifying them by saying, "My wife's best friend is black, hello" on Twitter. He also told The Hollywood Reporter that he didn't mind that this aggressive support of Trump would affect his career saying, "I genuinely, in my heart, do not care if I ever work again. I don't care. I'm comfortable and I've got a great life, but if I don't have a country that is recognizable to me, I've got nothing."

Scott also received major backlash after stating his former Joanie Loves Chachi co-star Erin Moran's death was due to drugs and alcohol until her autopsy revealed it was due to stage 4 cancer. In the wake of this scandal, another one of his former Joanie Loves Chachi co-stars Nicole Eggart pressed sexual assault charges against him which sparked his other co-star Alexander Polinsky to come forward with his stories of mistreatment from Scott.

Scott is still very active on social media and expressing his political views and now focuses on spending time with his family.
