Sex and the City "Harry Goldenblatt", played by actor Evan Handler, first joins the cast of the hit HBO series in season five. Hired as "Charlotte York's" (Kristin Davis') divorce attorney as she splits from her first husband "Trey MacDougal" (Kyle MacLachlan), the pair quickly develop feelings for each other!
The couple does need to overcome a few obstacles first before the relationship works, such as "Charlotte's" initial aversion to "Harry's" height, baldness, and hairy body! However, "Charlotte" proves her true love to "Harry" when she converts to Judaism so he can honor his promise to his deceased mother!

Sex and the City "Harry" may not be what "Charlotte" imagined in her future husband, but she quickly learns that you can't judge a book by its cover! Underneath his hairy exterior, "Charlotte" learned that despite being a divorce attorney, the man had a heart of gold and was just as a believer in true love as she was.
A dedicated husband and father, "Harry" turns out to be the perfect husband for "Charlotte"! Just like his on-screen character, Evan Handler also has a heart of gold!

Since Sex and the City ended in 2004, Evan Handler has stayed busy appearing in series including:
- as "Charlie Runkle" in Californication (2007-2014)
- American Crime Story: The People v. O. J. Simpson (2016)
- and currently as attorney "Jacob Warner" in Starz series' Power
Evan also released his first book in 1993, Time on Fire: My Comedy of Terrors, about his near-death experience battling leukemia in his 20s! He followed the first novel with a second in 2008 titled, It's Only Temporary...The Good News and the Bad News of Being Alive.
Not long after "Harry" married his true love on Sex and the City, Evan Handler also married his true love in real-life. In 2003, Evan married Italian chemist, Elisa Atti, and the couple now have a beautiful 13-year-old daughter together, Sophia!
The now 59-year-old actor also shares another characteristic with his Sex and the City character—he was born and raised Jewish! Evan Handler truly has a heart of gold just like Sex and the City "Harry"!
