After FKA Twigs filed a serious lawsuit against Shia LaBeouf for an endless list of abuse, beloved singer-songwriter Sia has come forward to tell her truth and support FKA. Sia had strong words of warning for women who may come across Shia's path.

FKA Twigs has filed a lawsuit against controversial and self-destructive actor Shia LaBeouf for sexual battery, assault, and infliction of emotional distress. Now, Sia has come forward to back up her claims.

FKA Twigs Files Lawsuit Against Shia LaBeouf

According to the New York Times, FKA Twigs' lawsuit against actor Shia LaBeouf contains very serious and terrifying allegations of an abusive and isolating relationship. In one instance on a rage-filled trip, Shia allegedly began speeding down the highway, removed his seatbelt, and threatened to crash the car with both of them inside "unless she professed her love for him."

FKA Twigs begged to be released from the car and managed to escape for a short time while the pair were stopped at a gas station before he chased her, assaulted her while screaming at her, and forcibly put her back into the car. FKA claims on this same trip he woke up in the middle of the night to choke her.

The 32-year-old talented musician alleges that during their relationship of less than a year, Shia physically, emotionally, and mentally abused her and even isolated her to prevent her from escaping his grip. According to the lawsuit filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court, 34-year-old Shia even knowingly gave her a sexually transmitted disease.

She explained to the New York Times, "I'd like to be able to raise awareness on the tactics that abusers use to control you and take away your agency."

Shia responded in an email to the NYT saying, "I'm not in any position to tell anyone how my behavior made them feel. I have no excuses for my alcoholism or aggression, only rationalizations. I have been abusive to myself and everyone around me for years. I have a history of hurting the people closest to me. I’m ashamed of that history and am sorry to those I hurt. There is nothing else I can really say."

Sia Alleges Shia "Conned" Her

FKA Twigs is not the first past girlfriend of Shia's to come forward with allegations of serious abuse, she is just the first to file a lawsuit and hold him accountable. When pushed on the allegations of FKA and other exes Shia emailed a response saying, "many of these allegations are not true," but that he owed the accusers "the opportunity to air their statements publicly and accept accountability for those things I have done."

Now "Chandelier" singer Sia has publicly come forward to support FKA Twigs. Sia posted the New York Times article to Twitter and said, "I too have been hurt emotionally by Shia, a pathological liar, who conned me into an adulterous relationship claiming to be single. I believe he's very sick and have compassion for him AND his victims. Just know, if you love yourself- stay safe, stay away."
