• Britney Spears is coming out with a new memoir
  • She had an abortion from Justin Timberlake's baby
  • THIS was his apparent reaction

Excerpts from the book continue to come out, and they are juicy as can be! Spears, 41, recalls the way Timberlake, 42, attempted to comfort her after she terminated her pregnancy. For any woman, it's usually a very trying time as it is, and the reactions of those closest to you can mean everything. In a time where major support is needed, it's nice to have someone there.

Spears wrote that Timberlake "thought maybe music would help," an insider exclusively confirmed to 'Us Weekly'. As Spears lay "crying and sobbing" on the bathroom floor, Timberlake strummed his guitar to soother her. That sounds like a very Justin thing to do. He has been catching a lot of flack lately for the revelations about their relationship that the book is now exposing.

Justin did what he could

The latest report comes after insiders divulged to 'DailyMail.com' that Timberlake is aware that his past treatment of Spears could come back to haunt him. At the moment, Justin is planning to stay silent in the face of explosive revelations about their relationship in her tell-all memoir. After all, these storms tend to pass pretty quickly.

The "SexyBack" singer looks set to be skewered in Britney's memoir, with fans already outraged after it was revealed that Britney claims that he cheated on her, and that she had an abortion, aged 19, because he wasn't ready to be a father. It is believed Justin had hoped that their decision to terminate the pregnancy would have remained a "secret forever."

Things don't always work out like you hope. And it's important to have some restraint when you are against the ropes. But despite any frustrations he may have, he will refrain from speaking out so as to not get in the way of Britney's chance to finally share her story.

"Justin thought that the decision that they made was a decision made together and he intended to never talk about it and for it to be kept their secret forever," an insider exclusively told 'DailyMail.com'. They continued: "Now that Britney has mentioned it, and it will live forever in her book and whatever else she decides to mention, Justin is going to try not to say anything about it because he knows whatever he says from this point will likely be thrown back right at him."

In the end, the mother makes the choice. Britney made the agonizing decision to terminate the pregnancy after conceiving in late 2000. In an excerpt obtained by 'People', she writes: "It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn't a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I'd anticipated. He said we weren't ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young. I'm sure people will hate me for this, but I agreed not to have the baby."

Also interesting:

Timberlake and Spears were 17 and 18, respectively, when they began dating after meeting as kids on the set of 'The All-New Mickey Mouse Club'. After the pair’s 2002 split, Timberlake hinted on his single "Cry Me a River" that Spears had been unfaithful during their relationship.

Britney says that the music video turned her into a villain. In her memoir, she writes that the song painted her like a "harlot", as people thought it was about her and that she had broken his heart by cheating on him.  The music video featured Justin Timberlake crying over his girlfriend who cheats on him. The song was the second single from Justin’s solo album 'Justified'.

And it is still one of his most popular songs to date. Soon after the song was released, Britney wrote, that the mainstream media pinned her as the unfaithful girlfriend in the video that looked strikingly similar to her.

In any case, there are still many wounds to be healed. And fans are waiting for Justin's definitive reaction to her comments once the book is finally published.
