Without a doubt, it was thanks to her role in Dallas that Victoria Principal became a household name. Principal (70) played "Bobby Ewing's" wife from 1978 until 1987.

Due to their tragic love story, which bore many similarities to Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, Pamela Ewing quickly became a fan favorite and was even nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance in 1983. After ten hugely successful seasons, she left the show to pursue other projects.
