Conchata Ferrell's husband Arnie Anderson gives a health update

Anderson provided the outlet with the update on his wife's condition on July 16. Dating back to May, she'd spent four weeks in the ICU after an illness related to a previous infection. While in the ICU, she went into cardiac arrest for around 10 minutes. Since then, she's been moved to a long-term care facility and is on a respirator and dialysis.

Now in long-term care, Ferrell is reportedly only semi-conscious and is unable to speak or communicate. "It's all neurological. There's nothing we can do to speed it up the process. We are hoping for the best," Anderson said.

Ferrell previously opened up to TMZ about a kidney infection that she'd been battling. It left her bedridden after weeks in the ICU this past December and January. The illness that led to her hospitalization this time around reportedly stems from this infection, too.
