Usher talked about expecting a baby and having a residency in Las Vegas during a new interview! On Friday the R&B singer made an appearance on Good Morning America, where he opened up about these two major life events.

Usher and his sons are excited for the arrival of his "bean"

Usher confirmed that he and his girlfriend, Jenn Goicoechea, are in fact expecting a baby together! As Entertainment Tonight mentions, Usher already shares 12-year-old Usher V and 11-year-old Naveid with his ex-wife, Tameka Foster. "[They're] elated and excited," he said of his sons' reaction to the news.

"Babies always bring such joy to a family. Really excited for my young one -- well, my bean's arrival." Along with having the excitement of welcoming a new addition to the family, Usher has some exciting things happening when it comes to his career as well!

Usher's residency to begin at The Colosseum in summer 2021

Usher said that he and his family have thought about the possibility of him having a residency in Las Vegas for some time, and now that idea has become a reality! Today he made the big announcement that he will be headlining shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace next summer starting July 16, 2021. Tickets will first be available in a special fan presale as of September 7, and go on sale to the public just a few days later, on Sept. 10 at 10 AM PT.

"Finally now, to be able to come to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace and be able to go back in time and do the earlier songs as well as new music and give people this up close and personal immersive experience is really something that I'm looking forward to," Usher shared on Good Morning America. "Really looking forward to Las Vegas, going there for 12 shows starting in July and really excited about it. It's gonna be crazy, man. Really crazy."

Usher also made another exciting announcement, sharing that he's been in the studio lately working on his upcoming album! "I'm getting ready to drop some new music and also some new visuals," he teased. "It's just been a process."

And while Usher's got a lot happening in his life right now, one thing he doesn't have going on is drama with Canadian R&B singer The Weeknd, who put rumours to rest about a feud between the two last month! It sounds like 2021 will be an amazing year for Usher when it comes to both his personal and professional life!
