Vanessa Morgan has returned to social media to share a sonogram photo of her unborn son! As Entertainment Tonight shares, the Riverdale actress hadn't shared anything on social media since last month, but delighted fans when she posted the sweet scan!

Morgan's sonogram photo shows son's foot in utero

Morgan, who plays "Toni Topaz" on Riverdaletook to Twitter to show off her sonogram on Wednesday! And in her caption, she drew attention to one specific feature. "He’s a lil kicker. ♥️ #bigfoot," she captioned the photo, referencing the small foot that's clearly visible.

Unsurprisingly, Morgan made no reference of her ex-husband Michael Kopech in the post. As Entertainment Tonight mentions, Morgan announced her pregnancy in July, just days before the news that Kopech had filed for divorce became public.

Morgan includes gender reveal photos in announcement

Morgan's pregnancy announcement also didn't mention Kopech, or include any photos of her with the baseball player. Instead, she shared pictures from her gender reveal party on Instagram, as well as an ultrasound video and photo of a positive pregnancy test!

"I am overjoyed to be welcoming my baby boy into the world this January," Morgan captioned the exciting news. "It’s almost like everything I thought mattered in this life has completely changed. We’re here for such a greater purpose and life is so precious." Morgan was met with some less than kind comments from fans of Kopech, who pitches for the White Sox.

Fortunately, Morgan's Riverdale co-star Madelaine Petsch, who plays "Cheryl Blossom" on the show, came to her defense. "Honestly if I see one more comment like this I’ll lose it," she responded. "Vanessa is a beautiful mother to be and the hate and disrespect I’m seeing on this post about her bringing a new life into this world is disgusting." We applaud Madelaine for speaking up, and wish Vanessa a healthy and safe journey through her pregnancy!
