The Wendy Williams Show host, discussed the 2020 Oscar nominations, which included Joaquin Phoenix for his starring role in Joker. Wendy admits that she finds Joaquin Phoenix "oddly attractive."

She then mentioned his "piercing eyes" after his big win at the 2020 Golden Globes before saying, "when he shaves off his moustache he's got a hairline fracture. He's got one of those - what do you call it? Cleft lip, cleft palate."

Fans were not happy with Williams
Wendy then hooked her finger into her lip to imitate the common birth defect which is what really enraged fans and viewers. Phoenix has never himself publicly addressed the scar on his lip.
