Patrick Swayze remains one of the most beloved actors of recent decades. Though Swayze passed away in 2009, fans are still interested in his life and family today. 

As fans may know, Patrick Swayze had four siblings: two brothers and two sisters. His eldest sister Vicky Lynn is known to have passed away tragically, but he also had a younger sister named Bambi.

The facts about Bambi Swayze

Bambi is the adopted daughter of Jesse Wayne and Patsy Swayze. Several resources suggest she was born in South Korea, her birth name was Bora Song, and she was adopted at the age of 4. 

Growing up, Bambi didn't have it easy with intense expectations from her parents. In his book The Time of My Life, her brother Patrick Swayze wrote:

"[My] younger siblings, Donny, Sean, and Bambi, also felt the constant pressure to perform in whatever activities they undertook. We called it 'growing up Swayze'—an almost manic drive to be the best, do the most, and lead the pack."

Like her siblings, Bambi Swayze also pursued a career in the arts. She became a dancer and actress, picking up a variety of TV, film, and video credits in the 1990s and 2000s. 

Bambi also played "Melinda" in One Last Dance, the 2003 film by Patrick Swayze and his wife Lisa Niemi. Then Bambi was involved in a minor scandal a few years back.

She and her long-time husband Don Franzen got divorced in 2017, at which time Bambi's ex accused her of bankrupting him with her legal, alcohol, and mental health troubles, according to RadarOnline. The legitimacy of his claims is unknown.

On her LinkedIn page today, Bambi Swayze says she is retired. She describes herself there as a ballet dancer, dance teacher, and housewife...
