Celine Dion has a health update for fans.

Sadly, the Canadian singer has to cancel her upcoming North American tour dates. The 53-year-old would've stopped in 16 cities across Canada and the US, but her doctors advised against it.

Celine Dion cancels 2022 tour over health concerns

Dion released a statement on Instagram confirming the sad news. She is still getting treatment for "severe and persistent muscle spasms."

A disappointed Celine wrote: "I was really hoping that I'd be good to go by now, but I suppose I just have to be more patient and follow the regimen that my doctors are prescribing."

Dion added she will be "so glad to get back to full health, as well as all of us getting past this pandemic, and I can't wait to be back on stage again."

She also sincerely appreciates the support from you, the fans. "I've been very touched by all the words of encouragement that everyone's been sending to me on social media," she wrote.

"I feel your love and support and it means the world to me," Dion added.

It's another cancellation for the popular singer, whose health is often a worry.

Back in October, Dion also had to cancel her shows in Las Vegas.

Get well soon, Celine!
