• Duchess Kate is visiting Denmark
  • She made several appointments there
  • On Day 2, the Duchess met the Danish royals

Even if Duchess Kate, 40, only has two days in Denmark, her schedule seems to be pretty full. After having a fun slide on Day 1 and blowing everyone away in her stylish blazer, things got a little more "royal" on Day 2. Kate met the women of the Danish Royal Family.

Duchess Kate meets Denmark's Princess Mary and Queen Margrethe

At Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen, Duchess Kate was welcomed by Princess Mary, 50, and Queen Margrethe, 81. The three royals posed for the photographers, each more elegant than the last.

While Mary presented herself in a black ensemble and white coat, the Queen opted for a more colourful look. In a checkered skirt, dark blazer and a striking scarf around her neck, the 81-year-old Queen, who is distantly related to Queen Elizabeth II, was definitely impressive.

Kate was also stylish as always. In a grey coat and black high heels, she opted for simple elegance — in complete contrast to the outfit she wore just a few hours earlier.

Before visiting the Danish royals, Duchess Kate went to a forest kindergarten. There she tried her hand at chopping wood, among other things. The Duchess cut a fine figure in jeans, a wool sweater, a parka and boots.

Kate is sure to have a lot to share when she returns to England. See what she got up to on Day 1 in Denmark here.
