In a dazzling 1973 wedding, Princess Anne married Captain Mark Phillips, and together they welcomed two children: Peter Phillips (46) and Zara Tindall (42). But unlike their royal kin, these two grew up without titles, a decision their mother candidly discussed with 'Vanity Fair' in 2020. "I think that was probably the right thing to do," Anne said, acknowledging the "downsides to having titles."

"After informing HM The Queen and members of both families last year, Peter and Autumn jointly agreed to separate. They had reached the conclusion that this was the best course of action for their two children and ongoing friendship," reads the couple's statement in part.
Peter Phillips, born in the prestigious Lindo Wing of St. Mary's Hospital, was the first grandchild of Queen Elizabeth, once fifth in line for the throne, now 17th.
He's carved out a life away from royal duties, diving into the world of sports management and even launching his own firm. His personal life made waves when he and Autumn Kelly divorced after 13 years, but he's since found love again with Lindsay Wallace, even introducing her to his grandmother, the late Queen.
Peter is not what's known as a "working royal." He's held positions at Jaguar, Williams F1 racing team, the Royal Bank of Scotland, and most recently SEL UK. 'Debrett's' also has reported that he has "his own sports management company."
In 2016, the 'Telegraph' described him as the Queen's favorite grandson. Phillips spoke to the paper about his relationship with the Queen. "I’ve always been very close to my grandmother, and we speak often. She has been an inspirational person throughout my life," he said.
