Meghan inherited a gold Cartier watch – worth around £23,000 – from Diana and paired it with a black outfit in New York. The Duchess looked rather reserved as her husband gave a great speech about Mandela, his passion for Africa, and also his beloved mother.
She combined her black outfit with matching stilettos, and she wore her hair in a ponytail. Wearing the watch is a touching gesture from the Duchess — after all, it was Africa that was so important to Lady Diana.
Prince Harry was there on behalf of his mother
