Sophie also highlighted her work on women's safety, noting her travels to regions facing instability. In 2024, she became the first British royal to visit Ukraine since the 2022 Russian invasion. During this visit, she met with survivors of conflict-related sexual violence, emphasizing the importance of women's roles in peacekeeping. "We have the most incredible women who work within communities at all levels of society, and they are often at the frontline of ensuring that peace is secure," Sophie remarked.
