Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have showed numerous times how committed they are in regards of protecting the environment, that's why the fact that they have flown on a private jet four times in the last eleven days has been widely criticized; some think that it is "unusual" for a royal couple.

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan, who have remained silent about the accusations, visited their friend and music star Elton John in Nice, and it seems that the English singer doesn't support the accusations against the royal couple. In one of his most recent Instagram updates he wrote: "I am deeply distressed by today’s distorted and malicious account in the press surrounding the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s private stay at my home in Nice last week."

Elton John also confirmed that he paid for the royal couple to fly to and from his mansion in France and said that "after a hectic year in which they both worked hard for charity", he and his husband only wanted to make a pleasant stay for them. He also made it clear that the flight was carbon neutral.

Ellen DeGeneres also defends the royal couple

The television personality also opened up about the allegations against Harry and Meghan: "Portia and I met Prince Harry and Meghan in England to talk about their work on wildlife conservation. They were the most down-to-earth, compassionate people."

Ellen also mentioned that she disagrees with the idea of "being attacked for everything you do." She is the latest celebrity to show her support for Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan, who lately have been highly criticized after their decision to use a private jet to go on vacations.
