• Meghan and Harry say goodbye to their house
  • They had to get out of Frogmore Cottage
  • Where do we go from here?

Frogmore Cottage was Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry's first home together in the UK. However, when they moved to the United States and retired as working royals, they lost the right to reside there. Now they have to vacate the house for good. According to the 'Daily Mail', King Charles' senior financial advisor, Sir Michael Stevens, announced this:

Who gets Frogmore Cottage now?

"We can confirm that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have vacated Frogmore Cottage," he said. With that, the last, at least material, connection to the royals is cut off. Stevens goes on to say this as well:

Also interesting:

"We will not be going into any detail on those arrangements here. Safe to say that, as has previously been stated, the Duke and Duchess have paid for the expenditure incurred by the Sovereign Grant in relation to the renovation of Frogmore Cottage, thus leaving the Crown with a greatly enhanced asset." Many are wondering what the future looks like now...
