When Charles and Camilla entered the church, Prince George (9), among others, acted as page of honour and supported his grandfather by holding his train. A particularly special bonding moment.
Prince William (40), Princess Kate (41), Princess Charlotte (8) and Prince Louis (5) were allowed to walk directly behind the royal couple. Little Louis seemed so excited that his older sister held his hand. This shot is probably one of the cutest shots of the day.
The eyes of the world were also on Prince Harry (38): He came alone, without Duchess Meghan (41) and without their children. Charles' youngest son took his place in the third row next to Princess Eugenie (33) and her husband Jack Brooksbank (37).

A Few Stumbles
During his coronation, King Charles rarely showed any emotion
Visibly touched and proud, King Charles walked down the aisle during his ceremony. With his hand on the Bible, he vowed to fulfill his duties as monarch.
Afterwards, King Charles had the coronation oil poured on his head behind partition walls. The public was not allowed to witness this moment.
After that, however, all the onlookers got to see how King Charles dressed in a golden robe for the last part of his ceremony, and took a seat on the coronation chair. There, he was presented with the regalia. The regalia are a sign of the monarch's power and symbolize different parts of the monarchy.

In the end, it's a moment the world has been waiting for at the coronation: The moment when King Charles III puts on the crown and cries to his throne. This image will go down in history.
Queen Camilla was also subsequently given a crown for her coronation as Queen. Queen Mary's crown confirms Queen Camilla as the monarch's wife. She also receives the ceremonial introduction as her husband, but in a shorter version.
