• Meghan Markle is a famous actress and is married to Prince Harry
  • Donald Trump apparently dislikes her
  • Find out what happened between the two of them below

Meghan Markle's power and success tend to irritate men in high places. Just ask Piers Morgan. In a similar vein, Donald Trump has predictably spoken against the Duchess of Sussex on several occasions.

For Trump, it could be an attention-seeking strategy. It could be his tendency to attack powerful women. It could also be that Meghan once criticized his politics on TV. But could the story possibly go back further than all that?

Donald Trump and Meghan Markle on Deal or No Deal?

It turns out there is a little-known incident from Meghan's days on Deal or No Deal. This, of course, was long before Markle was a Suits actress and the wife of Prince Harry.

In 2006 and 2007, the future royal worked as a briefcase model in a few dozen episodes of Deal or No Deal. While on the job, Meghan once crossed paths with Trump — and she may have insulted him.

Trump, then a reality TV star and celebrity businessman, cameoed on Meghan's game show. The story of their interaction — or lack thereof — comes from Andrew Morton's 2018 book Meghan: A Hollywood Princess.

Per the book, one of Meghan's fellow briefcase models said Trump openly flirted with the girls off-camera. "He was super-creepy," she said, "but some girls were attracted to money and power and took his number."

She then added: "Meghan was one of the girls who gave him a wide berth." Meaning, she avoided Trump's advances like the plague.

Also Interesting:

Little did they know, a decade later Meghan would become a household name. She and Trump don't have connections now, but she did call his politics "divisive" and "misogynistic" in a 2016 TV interview.

In turn, Trump has publicly criticized the Duchess several times and made it clear that he is "not a fan" of her. He also said he hopes she runs for president in 2024 so he can run against her.

Neither of the pair appears to have commented on the Deal or No Deal snub, but it's another piece of the odd puzzle that is Trump attacking Meghan in the press.
