Jack Brooksbank appears to have a new job lined up.
Jack, the 35-year-old husband of Princess Eugenie, is set to take on an important role with his father's business, a royal source told Daily Mail this week.
Jack Brooksbank reportedly eyes new job after photo incident
Brooksbank would become a director of Pangaea Land And Property Limited, in what the source described as a "more serious role to support his family."
According to the newspaper, Jack's father George "quietly" retired in June from his role as director of the firm, and he's now doing well after a scary battle with COVID-19 last year.
The news of Jack succeeding his father doesn't appear to be official just yet, however. It also follows the pretty recent incident involving photos of Brooksbank at work on his current job with Casamigos Tequila.
Jack Brooksbank's work pictures caused minor stir
As UK brand ambassador for the alcohol company, Brooksbank was photographed on a work trip in close quarters on a boat with several women in bikinis, one of whom removed her top at one point.
Despite some sensational headlines, most concluded that Jack had done no wrong. His mother-in-law Sarah Ferguson defended him, and the woman who removed her bra apologized for her indiscretion.
It's unclear if the new job would affect Brooksbank's current one, but director of a firm sounds like serious business. He's served as UK brand ambassador for Casamigos Tequila, the company co-founded by George Clooney, since 2016.
Jack married Princess Eugenie in 2018, and the couple welcomed their son August earlier this year. The family of three is also now visiting Balmoral.
