• Royal fashion and traditions are very particular
  • Kate Middleton is usually on top of her game
  • But she confessed to THIS mistake at Christmas 2019

Normally, Princess Kate can always adapt perfectly to the fashion needs of any royal event.

However, she missed the mark in 2019 at Sandringham's traditional Christmas service.

As Karen Anvil, a fan who traveled for the occasion, told Metro, Kate herself admitted to the fashion mistake.

Fashion faux pas: Where Kate went wrong at Christmas 2019

The Duchess appeared for the service in a grey coat by Catherine Walker with faux fur collar and sleeves.

There was just one problem: 2019 was a particularly warm Christmas, with temperatures soaring above five degrees.

Also interesting:

The royal fan explained: "Kate was talking to my daughter about clothes and how she was feeling too hot. She said, 'I really shouldn't have worn this.'"

Ever since this faux pas, we're betting Princess Kate now keeps an eye on the weather forecast before deciding her Christmas outfit!
