Meghan Markle joined her husband Prince Harry in London on Thursday at the Endeavour Fund Awards in London as they appeared together in the UK for the first time since the so-called Megxit was announced.
Meghan Markle: It's "very nice to be back"
As the couple arrived in the pouring rain at London’s Mansion House, one of the about 50 fans gathered outside actually booed the two royals, but it did not spoil their mood at all, as Meghan told the audience at the awards that she was glad to be at the event.
"It's very nice to be back. It's the third year I've had the incredible fortune of joining my husband here. It's just the most inspiring space."
Meghan shares new insights about Archie
And she also gave some new insights on their son Archie, who she (unfortunately) did not bring along on her trip to the UK this time around.
As she was being complimented on her amazing look by Claire Spencer, whose husband, Lee "Frank" Spencer, was nominated for an award, Meghan made a remark about Archie, as Claire recalls: "She said 'oh yes, well he is ten months now and is into everything.'"
The Sussex' next event together will be the Mountbatten Music Festival on Saturday, while Meghan will mark International Women's Day on Sunday!
