Prince William is currently on a solo tour of Kuwait and Oman until December 4. While he was visiting the Jahra nature reserve outside of Kuwait City, he learned about the important work being done to raise awareness of plastic pollution. The Duke admitted, "I hate plastic bottles now and I look at them and I literally think it’s the enemy," after revealing his family and staff that work at their home have all gone "plastic-free."

Prince William: "We have made a difference to the way we live"

William continued, "We have made a difference to the way we live. We’ve made sure when travelling here we only take our metal bottles with us. Lots of metal bottles. You see a plastic bottle and I’m like ‘eugh!’ Horrible, isn’t it?" according to ET Canada.

Prince William meets the Emir while on tour

Prince Charles has long been an advocate for fighting against plastic pollution and it seems as though his values have rubbed off on his two sons. While on tour, Prince William also got the chance to meet with the Emir which is something his father and the Queen have also been able to do.
