Beatrice shows off freckles while she reads Tad in brand-new video

Beatrice has been patron of the Oscar's Book Prize since March 2017, so it makes sense that she would be the one to deliver the announcement! She is patron to a £5,000 literary award, supported by Amazon and the National Literacy Trust which recognizes great storytelling in books for kids under the age of 5. You can find a list of all the shortlisted books HERE!

And as Hello! mentions, Beatrice opted for a makeup-free look in the video.

Wearing a bird-printed dress while reading an excerpt from Tad aloud, the royal showed off her natural freckles. Her surroundings appeared quite comfortable, with an exposed brick fireplace seen behind her as well as white alcove storage space. However, the space Beatrice was in wasn't her usual home!

Beatrice's freckles weren't the only noticeable thing on display, as the royal's engagement ring could also be seen on her ring finger while she held the book. As Hello! shares, the diamond was designed by Mayfair atelier Sean Leane. And although Beatrice and her fiancé Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have cancelled their wedding plans for now due to coronavirus, the two are still quarantining together!

Beatrice and Edoardo were initially thought to have been in lockdown together at Beatrice's London apartment in St. James Palace. However, Beatrice's mother Sarah Ferguson recently confirmed that the couple is actually in isolation at Edoardo's mother's million-dollar Chipping Norton countryhouse.
