Just when it seemed Princess Charlène was ready to return home to Monaco, news has come that she must undergo another operation in South Africa. Her foundation announced the princess will receive a procedure today related to her ENT infection.

Princess Charlène needs another operation

Per Hello!, the foundation's press release states: "Princess Charlene of Monaco will be placed under general anaesthetics for her final procedure taking place today.

"The Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation wishes her the best with this final operation and her recovery process."

While it's surprising and concerning that Charlène needs yet another procedure, the new statement suggests that it could be the end of her treatment in South Africa. So, a reunion in Monaco with Prince Albert and the couple's twins could still be imminent.

Royal fans will keep their fingers crossed for Charlène in the meantime. She has been in South Africa since May and has so far been unable to fly home to Monaco due to a severe ear, nose, and throat problem.

She had already undergone two operations up to this point. In early September, the princess also collapsed due to complications but quickly recovered. Get well soon, Charlène.
