Who was likely most pleased about the visit? Princess Charlène (45) took Monegasque Mother's Day as an opportunity to drop by the Princess Grace Hospital.
There she met employees, young mothers, and their babies. The appointment was a few days ago, but only now have the photos been published.
Princess Charlène meets babies
In two of the pictures uploaded to Instagram by the Red Cross, Charlène can be seen with little babies. Although she is wearing a mask, it is clear to see how happy the princess was to cuddle with the newborns.
Another snapshot shows the mother of two surrounded by nurses. Wearing a simple white dress, she hardly stood out among the women in light pink.
According to the Red Cross, "On Wednesday June 7, H.S.H. Princess Charlène paid a visit to young mothers staying at the Maternity Ward of the Princess Grace Hospital, a lovely souvenir for these mothers and their babies." But certainly also for the princess herself, whose twins Jacques and Gabriella are now eight years old.
