• Princess Charlène was in South Africa for about six months
  • Now she is back in Monaco
  • New pictures show her reunited with her family

On November 8th, Prince Charlène (43) returned to Monaco. She had to stay in South Africa for about six months because of an ENT infection, and now she has flown back to Monaco.

Princess Charlène is finally back with her family

As the Monegasque Palace announced on Instagram, Charlène was welcomed by her husband and children as well as by her sister-in-law Stéphanie upon her return home to Monaco.

The palace has posted the first pictures which show the joy and emotions that the family must have felt when they were reunited. The last of the three pictures in particular speaks volumes. Charlène hugs her husband Prince Albert (63) and her children ever so tightly.

Judging by the grins of the twins Jacques and Gabriella (both 6), the two children are really happy to finally be able to hug their mother again. Although they were able to visit Mama Charlène during her stay in South Africa, that was a few months ago.
